About our Year Six Dividend Campaign
City AM is partnering with City Pay it Forward, an independent financial education charity
City AM and City Pay it Forward have launched a campaign to equip every Year Six student in London with the financial skills they need to thrive. Too many children still leave school without a basic understanding of money.
The Year Six Dividend Campaign is a bold initiative to raise grant funding from City firms and individuals, enabling the delivery of free, high quality financial education to every Year Six child in the capital.
This is not just about budgeting and saving. It is about giving the next generation the confidence to navigate the cost of living, avoid debt traps, understand their future pay packets, and manage their money with clarity.
By supporting this campaign, you will be giving young people the tools for lifelong financial wellbeing, at the moment they are beginning to form habits that can shape the rest of their lives.
Campaign Update
Together, we make a difference
City AM and City Pay it Forward are pleased to share that more than £175,000 in grant funding has been raised. These funds will be distributed to primary schools across London to support the prioritisation of financial literacy for Year Six pupils.
Over 10,000 students across 175 schools will receive three hours of the award-winning City Pay it Forward curriculum.
We will continue to raise awareness of this essential life skill and to support its inclusion as a statutory part of the national curriculum by 2030.
City Pay it Forward and City AM will work alongside partners and sponsors to support the education sector in bold and innovative ways, strengthening the connection between institutions in the City of London and schools.
This campaign, as demonstrated by a leaderboard of leading City institutions, shows what can be achieved when the financial community and the education sector come together with a shared sense of purpose.

City Pay it Forward is an independent, volunteer-led financial education charity founded by business professionals who believe that every child should leave school with the confidence to manage money to life from budgeting.
We deliver practical, engaging workshops that bring money to life, from budgeting and saving to tax, credit, payslips and everyday financial choices. Our award-winning curriculum is designed in collaboration with top teachers and education specialists to make every lesson relevant, accessible and impactful.
